Perrac la Rapière

A daring, penniless gentleman from Gascony, who dreams of becoming a musketeer like d’Artagnan and turns out to be a poet like Cyrano, sets off on an adventure in the early 17th century, a period marked by conflict between the French nobility and the royal powers of Louis XIII and Richelieu. A swashbuckler and a hothead, the young Baron Perrac is a well-travelled cavalier. We see him come close to fulfilling his dream of becoming a musketeer.
