Musketeer

Volume 1 – Alexandre de Bastan.

In September 1661, convinced that his imminent arrest after that of Fouquet meant the end of his days, the Duc de Cambre entrusted his three most loyal friends with a potentially dangerous state secret for the King. Two days after his death, the destinies of these three men take a decisive turn. D’Artagnan, tasked with keeping the matter quiet, sends a few men after them, including the naive Alexandre de Bastan, who has recently joined the King’s musketeers.
